KOMA-Script Documentation Project

The current English guide, scrguide.pdf, is a mainly a translation of the German guide to KOMA-Script 2.98b. Several changes have been made to this translation to describe the new option interface (instead of deprecated old class options). Some of the new features since KOMA-Script 3.00 have been added to the translation, but some are still missing. Most of the newly added packages are not described at the English guide but have a stand-alone manual, that sometimes is shorter than the chapter at the German guide.

The former translation has been made mainly by Gernot Hassenpflug. Gernot has a new job and therefor cannot longer maintain the English translation. Unfortunately I was not able to find compensation. Translators from German to English or English editors are still needed and would be welcome! Despite my own limited English ability I've started to transform the old English guide into the new structure of the current German guide and to translate the missing descriptions. Drafts of my work may be found at the KOMA-Script repository and PDFs of the draft will be placed here. Note, that these drafts are always work in progress with several dead links/references that will become valid step by step!

Currently Krickette Murabayashi improves words, spelling, and grammar of my translation and my combination of former translations and my own changes. Many thanks to her! Nevertheless is would be useful to have more helpers for this unpaid job.

Since version 3.11 the new English guide is part of the release. Never the less: Currently only parts are improved by an English native speaker. So it's still a work in progress and you may help to improve it!

Note, that the given file size below was the file size at the start of the project. Currently it may differ.
